WOODSIDE, Del.- Delaware State Police have arrested a Virginia man after he threatened three people with a firearm in Kent County.
The incident happened around 1:10 a.m. Saturday in the parking lot of the Green Stinger Sports Bar and Grill located in the Woodside Plaza.
During the investigation, it was determined that an altercation occurred in the parking lot involving several people and the suspect, identified as Cameron Houck, allegedly pointed a handgun at three people, “placing them in imminent fear of physical injury,” police said.
It was also determined that Houck was intoxicated from alcoholic beverages, police said.
The handgun was recovered from Houck and seized as evidence. He was then taken into custody without incident.
Houck was charged with possession of a firearm while under the influence, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony and three counts of aggravated menacing, police said.
Houck was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and issued a no-contact order.
