MILTON, Del- The first of six Truckin’ Tuesdays took place this Tuesday in Milton.  Five food trucks were serving their specialties to the crowd that gathered in the parking lot across the street from the fire department.  Normally Truckin’ Tuesday’s take place on the grounds next to the Milton Historical Society at the corner of Union and Magnolia.  Rain over the past few days saturated that location forcing the change a few blocks away.

This is the fifth year of the event that is sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce.  “You don’t have to cook and you get to see your neighbors and friends,” Milton Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Dianne Pearce told WRDE.  “It is just a great evening out.”

Truckin’ Tuesdays occur the second and fourth Tuesdays in June, July, and August with the final event scheduled for August 27th.
