SUSSEX COUNTY, Del.- Up and down Sussex County’s coast this weekend are tons of opportunities to have some summer fun.
“It’s just a wonderful day to say thank you to everybody for all that they do,” explains Rehoboth Beach-Dewey Beach Chamber of Commerce President/CEO Carol Everhart. “Most of the businesses are offering a discount to our volunteers and military and those if they show their ID.”
“It’s open to everyone,” says Marketing Director JP Lacap. “You know gay, straight, transgender, everyone is going to be welcome in the theatre.”
“Sunday we have our first book signing at our new venue here at Fort Miles historic area overlooking the Atlantic Ocean,” says Dr. Gary Wray. “So we are all getting ready for it and it’s going to be an exciting day.”
“We are giving out cake with all the ice cream purchases,” says co-owner Chelsey Wharton. “Then we’ll have a bounce house, there will be a DJ and we are going to have some face painting and some different crafts and activities for the kids.”
