REHOBOTH BEACH, Del.- Rehoboth Beach Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of stabbing an 18-year-old Milton man on the boardwalk Saturday evening.

According to police, the felony assault happened in the area of Wilmington Avenue just after 10 p.m.

Following a verbal altercation, the suspect reportedly approached the victim from his left side, removed a knife from his right hand and stabbed the victim in his left side, police said.

The suspect and three accomplices then fled the scene west on Wilmington Avenue, police said.

The victim, who sustained serious but not life-threatening injuries, was transported to the hospital where he remains in stable condition, police said.
