FELTON, Del. – Delaware State Police are searching for the man they say robbed a bank in Felton on Friday, August 2nd.

According to the report at about 4:48 P.M. a suspect entered the WSFS Bank at 105 Irish Hill Road and gave a teller a note demanding cash and implying that he had a weapon by pointing to his waistband. Police say the teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect before the man fled on foot southbound on Canterbury Road.

There are no surveillance images of the robbery available at this time but witnesses describe the suspect as a black male wearing a red shirt and black pants. It is not known if he is armed because the weapon was never displayed, only implied.
