A Millsboro man faces charges after police say he entered his ex-girlfriend’s Milton home midmorning June 13 and fought with her.

Andrew A. Long, 22, went inside his ex-girlfriend’s home uninvited in the 25000 block of Walker Court, and he refused to leave, said Master Cpl. Melissa Jaffe of the Delaware State Police.

The two argued, and Long struck the ex-girlfriend in front of their three children, Jaffe said. The ex-girlfriend and the children were not injured, she said.

Long drove away before police arrived. He was taken into custody without incident a short time later at a residence in the 26000 block of Mount Joy Road. Long was taken to Troop 7 and charged with second-degree burglary, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and offensive touching. He was committed to Sussex Correctional Institution in default of $4,100 secured bond.
