MILLSBORO, Del. – The Delaware State Police arrested a Millsboro man in connection with several thefts happening in the Riverdale Mobile Home Park area on Friday.

Police say the investigation started back on May 14 when Troopers responded to a home in the Riverdale Mobile Home Park for a report of a theft of a package containing tools. Through investigative measures it was reportedly discovered that the stolen items had been placed for sale online, by 24-year-old Patrick M. Ford.

On May 17 another theft of property in the Riverdale Mobile Home Park, including a new push mower was reported. According to police, the mower was reported to have been seen at another home within the Mobile Home Park. Ford was contacted at this home and was arrested without incident.

The 24-year-old was taken back to Troop 4 where he was charged with the following:

Theft (Felony)
Attempted to Commit Selling Stolen Property
Criminal Trespass (2 counts)
Ford was arraigned before the Justice of the Peace Court and released on his own recognizance.
