SALISBURY, Md.- Maryland State Police are searching for two missing teenagers who may be somewhere on the lower Eastern Shore.

According to police, 16-year-old Merary Paramo has been missing since the morning of May 13. She is Hispanic woman, 5-foot-tall, with black hair and brown eyes. Paramo was last seen wearing a cowboy style button down shirt with blue jeans. According to police, Paramo told her parents she was going to be a friend, Alexandria Naranjo Aguirre, 17, at her home.

On the same day, Aguirre told her mother she was going to a friend’s home at 9:30 p.m., according to police. Aguirre did not say where the friend’s home was located or who the friend was. Aguirre is also Hispanic, 5-foot-3, with black hair and green highlights with brown eyes. She was last seen May 13 at 7:30 a.m.

All attempts to contact her were unsuccessful. It is believed that both Paramo and Aguirre are together and may be in the Salisbury/Fruitland area or possibly Ocean City.
