MILFORD — A Frederica man was indicted on four felony counts — including first-degree attempted murder — in connection with an incident in the Perdue Farms parking lot on April 17, Milford Police said.
Police reported that a woman was assaulted by an unknown person between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. and transported to a local hospital.
She was in stable condition during medical treatment, authorities said.
Police said a warrant was obtained for Kevin L. Kimbrough, then 37.
He was taken into custody in the 1600 block of Bay Road on April 23,
An indictment listed a knife as prompting the possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony count.
Other charges include first-degree attempted carjacking and first-degree unlawful imprisonment. He was then held by the Delaware Department of Correction in lieu of $622,000 cash bail.
Deputy Attorney General Dennis Kelleher obtained the indictment this week.
