GEORGETOWN, Del. – An expungement clinic is looking to help people clear their juvenile record and get them back on their feet.

The clinic which is hosted in part by the Southern Delaware Alliance for Racial Justice will provide one on one sessions.

The clinic will take place at the Georgetown Public Library on Aug. 16, and the deadline to register is Thursday, June 14.

People charged with things like murder, kidnapping and manslaughter will not qualify.

According to the Pathways to Success Executive Director Fayetta Blake, this clinic is crucial to help people find new opportunities in life.

“It is just important that they know that just because they made a mistake at some point in time that it doesn’t have to last a lifetime and it doesn’t have to stop them from getting decent jobs,” said Blake.

To register for expungement, you are encouraged to call Alana Farber at 302-577-5120.
